Please be aware that joining our swim team is a commitment for you and your swimmer. Under that point that all registrations are from the date of sign up through the end of the short course season in June 2025. If at any point, you wish to leave the team or drop out, you must give a 30-day written notice prior to draft date. Refunds for unused fees will be given on a case by case basis.
-
Parent help is crucial to the operation of a competitive swim team. Parents are required to volunteer a minimum of 20 hours per season. This may be in the form of timing, computer operation, admissions, fundraising etc.

Here’s a few tidbits (Link)
-
Team swimsuit & backup swim suit
Team Cap - please ensure the swimmer has a back-up cap
Goggles - please ensure the swimmer has a back-up pair
Towel
Something to sit on - Ask Coach Richie if you need to bring one.
Sweat suits or Jacket - each swimmer may want to bring one or two because they can get wet and soggy
T-shirts
Meets can be long - pack games, cards, books, or anything else your child likes. Electronics are discouraged as they are distracting to swimmers and pose a larger financial liability.
Food - Strongly suggest you pack food for your swimmer in a smaller lunch box or mini-cooler. They may have a concession at some meets, however the lines are long and most of the time they sell junk food.
Any combo of carbs and protein foods
-
The pool area is usually very warm and humid, therefore you need to ensure you dress appropriately. Nothing is worse than being hot at a swim meet. Prepare accordingly.
-

Help make the sport fun for your child.
Challenge-don't threaten.
Avoid comparisons and respect developmental differences.
